Today, (15/11) The Ministry of Health received a donation of funds for disaster victims Wassior flash floods in West Papua, the tsunami in Kep. Mentawai West Sumatra and the eruption of Mount Merapi, Yogyakarta, each from the PT. Lippo Group (1 billion rupiahs), PT. Sinde Budi Santosa (1.5 billion rupiahs), PT. Softex Indonesia (200 million rupiahs, and goods valued at 800 million rupiahs), and PT. Glaxo Smith Kline / GSK ( 425,780,000, - rupiahs). The donation was received directly by  Minister of Health, dr. Endang Rahayu Sedyaningsih, MPH. Dr. PH in the building which was witnessed by Minister of Health’s staff, among others, the Inspector General of Minister of Health, dr. Yudhi Prayudha Ishak Djuarsa, MPH, Chief of Center for Crisis MOH, Mudjiharto, SKM, MM and Head of Public Communication Center MOH, drg. Tritarayati, SH.

On the occasion, Minister of Health expresses grateful for their participation and concern from the business community and private sectors are willing to ease the burden of disaster victims. This form of the Ministry of Health tagline is "inclusive". Inclusive understanding of health development in Indonesia is not only the responsibility of government alone but also involves all components of society, including community organizations, nongovernmental organizations, and private. Improving public health development through community empowerment, including the private sector and civil society

Health Minister added that the support given need to be coordinated with the affected area a disaster, especially in relation to the needs of the area. Furthermore, aid distribution process will be transparent and accountable.

Minister of Health hope this cooperation will continue, as an effort to increase public confidence to the government and the synergy of government collaboration with each component of society, including private.
