Minister dr. Endang Rahayu Sedyaningsih, MPH, Dr. PH signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the community organization comprised of 17 religious organizations, women's organizations, and the national scouts, in Jakarta, today (20 / 8).

The signing was done with PB Nahdatul Ulama, PP Fatayat NU, NU PP, PP Muhammadiyah, Aisiyah PP, PP Al Hidayah, Islamic Unity (PERSIS), PERSIS Youth, Communion of Churches in Indonesia (PGI), Union of Health Work Dharma Indonesia ( PERDHAKI), Representative of Indonesian Buddhists (Walubi), Parisada Hindu Dharma Indonesia (PHDI), Fellowship of Christian Health Services in Indonesia (PELKESI), Indonesian Women's Congress (KOWANI), Dharma Women's Association, National Women's Association (PERWANAS), and National Kwartir Scout Movement.

According to the Head of Health Promotion Center dr. Lily S. Sulistyowati, MM, the goal of cooperation to improve health promotion and community empowerment in realizing independence of the community for clean and healthy living. It involves the field of Maternal and Child Health, Family Conscious Nutrition, Reproductive Health, Elderly Health, Control of Communicable Diseases and Non Communicable Diseases, Cultivation Behavior Clean and Healthy Living (PHBS) in different order, the Village Development Alert, Regional Development and the Development of Problematic Health and Promotion Health in Hospital.

This cooperation is a partnership initiated by various groups of potential to build commitment and active cooperation in health development in particular areas of Health Promotion and Public Empowerment in achieving the vision and mission of the Ministry of Health and the objectives of Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
Dr. Lily stated, partnerships in health development has been stipulated in Law No. 36 Year 2009 on Health, that each person is obliged to come to realize, maintain and improve a highest community health status.

In addition, each person is obliged to maintain and improve the health of others which its responsibility and community is hoped to be active, either individuals or organized in all forms and stages of health development in order to help accelerate the achievement of highest public health degree
