In effort of giving a quality health service to community, government has prepared health facility by complete it with hospital and health center’s facility and infrastructure, and provides sufficient drugs. Therefore, all people can utilize the existing health facility.
To see directly the advance health service for community, today, the vice president, Boediono together with Minister of Health, dr. Endang R. Sedyaningsih visit to Tambora health center. As we know, in reaching Millenium Development Goals (MDGs) target, Indonesia government has done any efforts to increase maternal and child health, and planned family so that it can decrease maternal and child mortality. One of effort to support that target, government has increase budget for community health, so that it can broaden the accessibility of Jamkesmas (Community Health Guarantee) participants which is giving health service to health center and its net and in hospital for free (due to its financed by government), to poor and unaffordable family, orphanage, prisoners and disaster victim. Prevention is cheaper than curing. Therefore, people are asked to apply a healthy and clean life behaviour (PHBS) to prevent any disease occur. If people apply a healthy life style, they will become a healthy, strong, and skilful and has high productivity. People are advised to be active in sub health center activity, pregnant woman do screening and delivery assisted by health personnel, all infant and underfive have to get a complete immunization, keep environmental become healthy and clean so that there will no an outbreak, especially diarrhoea, Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever (DHF) and participate to Family planning to improve mother, children and family welfare.
