Minister of Health of RI, Dr. dr. Siti Fadilah Supari, Sp JP (K) held a dialogue with many students of Junior and Senior High School of Adzkia Islamic School Ciputat on Tuesday, June 30, 2009. Adzkia Islamic School is a school led by Daarut Tauhid Foundation belong to K.H Abdullah Gymnastiar.

In that chance, Siti Fadilah told about her experience when she was a child until she is a Minister of Health now. She told that she never had an ambition to be a minister at all. When she was a child, she really want to be a mining engineer and went to school in Bandung Technology Institute. She has an ambition to explore an amazing Indonesia's earth richness to be a blessing for Indonesian people. Yet, her father wanted her to be a doctor. Due to her love and loyalty to her parents, she was accepted in Medical Faculty of Gajah Mada University.
Siti Fadilah beliefs that if someone loyal to her parents, she will be loved by God. It including her carrier journey, she got much helps by God until she is a Minister of Health, like today. Answering questions about how her fight until being a Minister of Health, Siti Fadillah said all of that is a destiny. And also result from being always obey her parents. When she was doing her task to be cardiac doctor specialist in hospital, suddenly she got a phone call from someone that told herself was pointed as a Minister of Health by President of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. She was surprised and at first confused whether she is affordable to accept that position or not. After suggestion from someone that she's respected, that it is a precious position and can give many benefit to all people, finally she accepted the position of Minister of Health of RI.

She also said that all polices and program she made, she belief that she is in God blessing. Her braveness against USA and WHO in matter of avian influenza sharing virus has gave a big effect for the world. Because of her braveness and determined will, she got an appraisal from many people who are amazed with her fight.

Answering the questions about what are the obstacles she faced and how to handle it, Minister said she faced many obstacles even it very hard, but she give it back to God and hope for a way out of this problem.

In that event, Minister of Health accompanied by the head of Health Promotion Center , dr. Abidinsyah Siregar and Director of Mental Health Care, dr. Aminullah. Also attended the event, Daarut Tauhid Foundation leader, K.H Abdullah Gymnastiar or more known as Aa Gym. Aa Gym reminds students to always remember of God and do pray a lot because it is our guideline to be save in world and heaven. Besides that Aa Gym warn students to protect themselves in relation between friends nowadays which sometimes made them did negative things such as drugs, free sex, and so forth.
